Antares Homes feels that buying a new home should be one of the most exciting times of your life! So to do our part to ensure that excitement becomes a reality, we walk you through the home buying process one step at a time.

Select Your Community and Home Design

Determining which community to live in, as well as which home design best suits your unique needs, are very important decisions. You can trust our Sales Consultants as they are knowledgeable and experienced in listening to your needs and asking the right questions that will guide you in reaching the answers to these questions that are right for you.

Conditional Pre-Approval for Mortgage Financing

We don't want the process of obtaining financing for your new home purchase to be overwhelming, so rest assured that our years and years of experience guiding Home Buyers through this process will prove invaluable at this juncture. The process starts with obtaining a Conditional Qualification Letter from a mortgage lender. Obtaining this conditional pre-approval for mortgage financing is one of the steps necessary for us to start the process of building your new home. Again, we will guide you through this process and we are here to help.

Write the Sales Contract

You will meet with your Sales Consultant to finalize paperwork and make your choices official! Once both your Conditional Qualification Letter and Sales Contract are submitted to our corporate offices and accepted, you are on your way to owning your new home.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes

We know you will be both anxious and excited to see construction on your new home begin. However, we want to make sure you understand there will be several weeks that pass between the day you sign your Sales Contract and the day the form-boards are set in preparation for pouring your foundation. But, believe us, there is a lot happening… you just can’t see it! During this time, we are working with our engineers, local municipalities, and our Vendors and Trade Partners to obtain the proper building permits and schedule the actual start of construction on your new home.

Attend the Antares Home Buyers Club ('AHC') Meeting

What is the AHC? Well, it is very important to us that you, our Home Buyer, are fully educated and prepared to start this exciting experience. We want you to have the opportunity to both hear from our professional team and to ask any questions you have so you fully understand the entire process of building, owning, and maintaining your new Antares home. So, we created this unique club meeting… just for you!

We feel the AHC meeting is such a vital contributor to the success of your overall experience, we require your attendance as indicated in the Sales Contract.

An experienced member of our Production Department will conduct the meeting and explain the Antares Home Building process in detail. Additionally, you will also learn what is covered under your new home’s warranty program. Finally, you will have a brief tour of our Selection Studio and one of our Selection Studio Consultants will introduce you to the selection process.

Make Your Selections!

Our newly renovated Selection Studio is the place where your dreams become reality. Our team of dedicated Selection Studio Consultants are focused solely on you and your home. These design professionals spend one-on-one time with you to guide you through your selections. We believe that our Home Buyers can design a beautiful home regardless of their budget. The possibilities are nearly endless.

Builder Meeting

After your visit to the Selection Studio, where you made selections for your ideal home, you will meet with the Construction Manager at your new community. The purpose of this meeting is two-fold: 1) this is dedicated time for you to meet and get to know your Construction Manager, as this is the person who will be able to answer your questions about your new home during the construction process, and 2) this meeting is to review your individual selections with your Construction Manager to ensure that you and your Construction Manager are on the same page when it comes to the selections of your new home.

Framing Is Complete

You may be surprised at how quickly our construction process moves once we have poured your foundation. The frame will be constructed next and you can clearly imagine life within your new home.

Your Home Has Walls

Once the walls are up, the home begins taking shape. You will soon see your design selections come to life as the cabinets, flooring, tile selections, and fixtures quickly follow. It’s only a matter of time before your closing is scheduled!

Attend the Home Owner Orientation Meeting

Your Home Owner Orientation Meeting will be scheduled for seven days prior to your closing day. Your Construction Manager will give you lots of tips and tricks for home maintenance and you will have an opportunity to make sure everything is in tip-top shape. Now, it’s just a matter of days before your closing.

Get to Closing and Pick Up Your Keys

The big day is finally here! The title company will assist you as you become the owner of your dream home. It may take a couple of hours for the closing to be completed, but as soon as it is, your Sales Consultant will call you to come pick up the keys to your new home. You are officially a new member of the Antares Family! Congratulations and Thank You again!
