Throughout the downturn, many folks have wondered how Antares Homes has continued to defy the odds and remain profitable. The secret? Antares Homes is different.

Committed to Excellence

Saying you're different is easy. But with Antares, it's not just lip service. The entire team of construction and company managers has been awarded the special designation of Graduate Master Builder - GMB. The Graduate Master Builder distinction is awarded by the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) in recognition of experience, education and testing in quality homebuilding processes.

Graduate Master Builder

The Graduate Master Builder designation is rare. To qualify, a builder must first attain the Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) designation, or successfully complete three CGB courses and have at least 10 years of building business experience. GMB graduates complete an intensive series courses on business management techniques and the newest trends and technology in the building industry. This training was coordinated by working in close collaboration with the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association.

Get it Right the First Time

Ron Formby, President/CEO of Antares Homes, realizes the importance of doing things right the first time, and doing things right requires rigorous and continuous training. Ron's leadership and strong work ethic are woven into the fabric of Antares Homes, so it's no surprise that everyone on the construction management team jumped at the opportunity to participate in the GMB training. The building team made it a priority and attended the training sessions on their own time. Attending class on Saturdays meant postponing a few picnics, but that's OK if it helps us consistently build quality homes. And if our homes are solid, we'll have plenty of time for cookouts later... because we won't be working Saturdays making warranty repairs.
